Privacy

What we keep,
and what we don't.

This page covers ludicwebsites.com and Lark, Ludic's scanner. Plain language, short, and specific about how to be removed.

Who we are

Ludic is a studio of GoodCraft LLC, Knoxville, Tennessee. This page covers ludicwebsites.com and Lark, Ludic's scanner. Questions go to Nathan at nathan@ludicwebsites.com.

This website

No cookies. No tracking pixels. The site doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies, and report pages at /r/ carry no analytics script at all.

The booking form collects your name, email, website address, the time you pick, and an optional “how did you hear about us” answer. It's used to hold the call and to follow up about it. It's kept in our CRM until you ask us to delete it.

The stop form collects only the email address or domain you type. It goes on a do-not-contact list. That list is kept permanently, because deleting it would mean Lark could contact you again.

Server logs record standard request data (IP address, page, time) for security and are deleted on a rolling basis. Form fields are never written to logs.

Lark, the scanner

What Lark reads. Only public web pages: the same ones any visitor sees. Lark never logs in to a website and can't.

What Lark stores about a scanned site. Public measurements (WordPress version, plugin names and dates, PageSpeed results, certificate status, page count), each with the time and the page it came from.

What Lark stores about a business. Business contact details from public sources and a business data provider: company name, owner or decision-maker name, business email, phone, approximate size. Lark writes to business addresses only.

Where it comes from. Google business listings, state license boards, trade association directories, and a business data provider.

How long. Scan data is kept while a site is in Lark's pool and rescanned monthly. Anyone who opts out has their address and domain suppressed permanently, and their scan data deleted.

How to be removed. Reply “no” or “stop” to any Lark email, or use the stop page. Your address and domain are off the list within 15 minutes.

Report pages

If you ask for your report, it lives at a private link that isn't indexed by search engines and has no tracking. Reply “delete” and it's deleted.

Who we share with

Nobody, for marketing. We use service providers to run the business (hosting, email, CRM, scheduling), and they process data only to provide that service. We don't sell data.

Changes

If this page changes, the date below changes, and anything material gets a line at the top.
